HFHP Foundation Saved a Woman’s Life

Helping For Helpless People (HFHP) Foundation once again stood by its mission of serving humanity when it came to the aid of a critically ill woman from Mudkani, a small and remote village in Turekela Block of Balangir District.

The woman was suffering from severe health complications due to irregular menstrual cycles. Her condition had worsened to the extent that she was unable to stand or sit, had stopped eating, and was growing weaker with each passing day. With no immediate support system around her, her situation became extremely critical.

Her husband works as a daily wage laborer outside the village. Due to financial hardship, lack of awareness, and absence of family support, she was unable to receive timely medical treatment, and her health continued to deteriorate rapidly.

When HFHP Foundation received information about her condition, our team responded immediately. Understanding the urgency, a dedicated team reached Mudkani village and safely transported her to a hospital in Khariar, Nuapada District, where she received proper medical care.

She was admitted to the hospital for 4–5 days, during which our team remained continuously involved in her care. From completing hospital formalities to providing daily assistance, medicines, food, and emotional support, HFHP Foundation bore all medical and related expenses.

With timely treatment and compassionate care, her condition improved steadily. After doctors confirmed her recovery, our team safely escorted her back to her home, ensuring she was stable and comfortable.

This intervention was not just about treatment—it was about restoring hope, dignity, and the right to live with care and compassion.

HFHP Foundation remains committed to supporting the most vulnerable sections of society and ensuring that no one is left to suffer due to poverty or lack of support.
